I have been collecting music now for nearly 40 years!. from the very first time i heard SoS Bands “Just be good to me”, i was hooked, so i really got into the 80’s soul scene.
As time goes on my musical taste had broadened and for the last 20 years i have been very much into the Modern soul scene, there are some wonderful artists and sounds from the 70’s and 80’s which i feature every week.
Years and years of pen and paper and a radio later and i have more vinyl and cd’s than i have space for, but i wouldn’t change a thing.
I hope you can join me here on a Sunday for the Soul Lounge where i play a mix of 70’s and 80’s modern soul and boogie, with a splash of 60’s and disco thrown in too!
I have worked on many radio stations over the years and i am honoured to be a part of Retro Soul Radio and i am still learning more about music and hearing new tunes more than ever before thanks to the variety of DJ’s we have here on the station.
