Casting my mind back to how it all begun. My father was a great influence and supported me on the journey towards collecting and playing the whole spectrum of Soul.From my first Hi-Fi to a twin turntable setup he was always there.
Meeting Tony Johns in 1975, Tony was a true visionary when it came to organising and getting things done coupled with the chance he gave me to present shows on Radio Invicta , the UKís first Soul Radio Station , this cemented the future on the road to playing and collecting the music we love.
With the closure of Invicta in 1984, after the stationís un-successful petition for a licence , I moved into Music Copyright where I continue to work today.Itís a great pleasure to be part of the RSR family!
